Pricing
How to price a tyre range, the easy way.
Pricing a tyre range by hand is slow and drifts out of date the moment a supplier list changes. Here is a cleaner approach, and how to hand it to an agent.
Start from the catalogue, not the spreadsheet
The hard part of pricing is keeping sizes and specs correct. If you start from a maintained catalogue, that work is already done. You only ever set the number.
Decide your rule, not every price
Most shops do not price each tyre individually. They apply a rule: a percentage markup, a floor price, or a margin by range. Decide the rule once and apply it across the lot.
Let your agent apply it
Connect the AI agent you already use, hand it your supplier list, and tell it the rule. It maps each line to the right tyre, applies your markup, and flags anything it cannot match. What took an evening takes minutes.
